- All exam boards are taught and many of our A-level teachers have experience examining for the AQA, OCR and Edexcel exam boards for A-level literature.
- We cover many set texts for literature- examples of some set texts: Othello, The Great Gatsby, Pre/ Post 1900 poetry, The Handmaid’s Tales, Paris Anthology, Feminine Gospels Poetry, A Streetcar Named Desire and many others works of literature.
- Key skills we focus on are essay writing, wider reading and applying critical literary theory to the works of literature we study.
- We coach students through their NEA- Non-Exam Assessment (coursework) and work through the redraft process with them.
- We also support students in the process of writing their personal statement for UCAS.
